Pitcher: Mallory McKinney, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park McKinney recorded a win and a save in a doubleheader versus UW-Oshkosh to help the Blugolds become the only team in WIAC history to win three straight conference titles. In game one McKinney pitched her 10th shutout of the season as the Blugolds defeated the Titans 2-0. McKinney pitched seven innings allowing no runs on five hits with six strikeouts and no walks. McKinney broke the team shutout record of nine previously held by Heidi Bergstrom in 2000 and Kari DeGross in 1988. entering game two with two batters on and two outs, McKinney got Caitlin Allen to pop up for the game's final out to preserve the 1-0 victory.
Position: Jill Janke, Infielder, So., Black River Falls, WI Janke drove in all three runs batted in against UW-Oshkosh to help the Blugolds become the only team in WIAC history to win three straight conference titles. In game one Janke hit a two-run two out single to break a scoreless tie and give the Blugolds a 2-0 victory to secure their third consecutive conference title. In game two Janke would again provide all the offense the Blugolds needed as she smacked a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning as the Blugolds would go on to win 1-0. The home run tied a team record for home runs in a season as the Blugolds currently stand at 28 round trippers for the year sharing the mark set last season.

Pitcher: Bri Sturm, Pitcher/Utility, Fr., Zumbrota, MN/Mazeppa-Zumbrota Sturm went 2-1 for the week pitching three complete games as the Blugolds won five of six games including a perfect 4-0 record against conference schools. In a 3-2 victory over UW-Stevens Point Sturm allowed two runs, one earned, while scattering nine hits. Sturm struck out three Pointers while walking three in the win. Against UW-Whitewater Sturm allowed one earned run and just two hits against one of the top power hitting teams in the conference in notching the 2-1 victory. Sturm's only loss of the week was a 3-2 defeat to 16th-ranked St. Scholastica (MN). In three games Sturm pitched 21 innings allowing 20 hits, six runs with five earned runs while striking out 10 batters against seven walks.
Position: Casey Leisgang, Infielder, So., Seymour, WI Leisgang continued her hot hitting as the Blugolds won five of six games including a perfect 4-0 record against conference schools. In the bottom of the seventh with two strikes and two outs down 1-0 against UW-Whitewater Leisgang hit a double to right field knocking in the game-tying run. Leisgang would later score the game-winning run one batter later to seal the 2-1 come-from-behind win. Against UW-Stevens Point Leisgang led off game two with home run marking the fourth time this season that she has led off a game with a home run. For the week Leisgang was 9-for-18 (.500) from the plate with six runs scored, two doubles, one home run, one walk and no strike outs. Leisgang currently has a 15-game hitting streak in which the Blugolds have gone 14-1.

Pitcher: Mallory McKinney, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park Started the front end of both games and earned complete game victories. Came on in relief to earn extra inning triumphs in both second games. Ran her string of consecutive scoreless innings to 61 and her string of innings without allowing an earned run to 66 before River Falls scored with one out in the first inning of the first game. For the week, McKinney pitched 18 1/3 innings, allowing 12 hits, 1 run, 1 earned run and 1 walk while striking out 13. Her shutout against Stout was her ninth of the season, tying the school single season record set by Kari DeGross in 1988 and tied by Heidi Bergstrom in 2000. She now owns a 15-1 season record with an 0.45 ERA. She has walked five and struck out 100 in 93 2/3 innings.

Had an .857 slugging percentage with 2 doubles and a home run. She shares the team lead in HRs with 7. Played errorless ball in the field with 4 putouts and 9 assists.

Pitcher: Mallory McKinney, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park McKinney went 3-0 on the weekend as the Blugolds opened conference play with sweeps at UW-La Crosse and UW-Platteville. In game one at UW-La Crosse McKinney pitched seven scoreless innings allowing two hits and striking out nine against no walks in a 3-0 victory. The next day at UW-Platteville McKinney allowed one lone hit striking out four with no walks in a 10-0 win in six innings. McKinney was not done for the day as she came in to pitch the final 3.1 innings of game two allowing two hits while striking out two and walking none to preserve a 15-6 Blugold win. Over the weekend McKinney pitched 16.1 scoreless innings allowing just five hits while striking out 15 and not walking a single batter in three games. McKinney has now pitched 53.1 scoreless innings pitching seven shutouts during that stretch. During the streak McKinney has allowed 20 hits striking 63 batters against just one walk.
Position: Casey Leisgang, Infielder, So., Seymour, WI Leisgang provided lots of pop from the plate as the Blugolds opened WIAC play with sweeps at UW-La Crosse and UW-Platteville. Against the Eagles Leisgang took the first pitch of game one and hit it over the fence to give the Blugolds an early 1-0 lead. Game two saw Leisgang lead off the game with another home run giving the Blugolds the early lead. Leisgang would hit her second home run of the game and third of the day in her next at-bat extending the Blugold lead to 5-1. The following day at UW-Platteville Leisgang hit a three-run home run in the top of the six to help the Blugolds win 10-0 in six innings. For the week Leisgang was 5-for-15 (.333) from the plate with eight runs batted in, seven runs scored, four home runs and one walk in four games. From the field Leisgang recorded five putouts and five assists against zero errors.

Pitcher: Mallory McKinney, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park McKinney recorded her sixth shutout of the season in helping the Blugolds to their ninth consecutive win in sweeping a doubleheader from St. Norbert. In a 4-0 victory in game one McKinney pitched seven innings surrendering just three hits while striking out seven and walking zero batters. During their current win streak the Blugolds have outscored the opposition 54-3. McKinney has won five of those nine games, all by shutout, as her current record stands at 8-1.
Position: Mandy Tschernach, Infielder, Jr., Rice Lake, WI Tschernach helped the Blugolds from the plate and on the base pads in sweeping a doubleheader from St. Norbert. Tschernach batted 4-for-7 (.571) in the double header with two doubles while scoring two runs and notching one stolen base. Tschernach was 2-for-4 from the plate in game one with a run and a stolen base in the 4-0 victory. In game two Tschernach was 2-for-3 scoring one run in the 9-1 Blugold victory. Both of Tschernach's hits were doubles in the second game. The pair of wins has run the current Blugold win streak to nine games where they have outscored the opposition during that stretch 54-3.

Pitcher: Mallory McKinney, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park McKinney and the Blugolds have won seven consecutive games, McKinney winning four of those games, participating at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Florida. McKinney began the streak with a 2-0 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene (OH) scattering four hits over seven innings while striking out nine batters and walking none. In a 8-0 win over Endicott (MA) McKinney again shined on the mound allowing just one hit and striking out 10 in five innings. Versus Illinois Wesleyan McKinney allowed four hits while striking out seven in a 2-0 complete game victory. In her final game of the week versus Eastern Connecticut McKinney struck out nine, walked one and allowed three hits in the 8-0 six-inning victory. For the week McKinney pitched 25 innings allowing 12 hits striking out 35 batters against one walk going 4-0 on the week. The Blugolds are currently 13-3 overall and posted a 9-1 on their trip to Florida.
Position: Rachel Paulus, Outfielder, Junior, Wisconsin Rapids/Lincoln Paulus helped the Blugolds to a 9-1 record at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Florida. Against Baptist Bible (MO) Paulus was a perfect 3-for-3 from the plate scoring twice with one run batted in a 8-0 victory. In a 5-1 victory over Augsburg (MN) Paulus went 3-for-4 with a run batted in against the Auggies. Paulus helped spark the Blugold win streak by having two hits a game in wins over Illinois Wesleyan, Colorado College, Endicott (MA) and Mount Vernon Nazarene (OH) collecting eight hits in 11 at bats (.727) scoring four runs with two runs batted in. During the Blugolds' seven-game win streak Paulus is 15-for-24 (.625) from the plate with six runs batted in, five stolen bases, one double and one triple.

Pitcher: Mallory McKinney, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park McKinney has helped the Blugolds jump out to a 6-2 start with their only two losses coming against defending NCAA Division III champion St. Thomas (MN). In the season opener McKinney pitched seven scoreless innings allowing just three hits while striking out 12 batters and walking one in a 3-0 victory over Buena Vista (IA). Against St. Thomas McKinney allowed three earned runs in six innings striking out and allowing one walk versus the Tommies. Facing Gustavus Adolphus (MN) McKinney allowed six hits and two earned runs in getting the Blugolds back to their winning ways in a 9-2 victory over the Golden Gusties. For the season McKinney is now 3-1 with a 1.30 earned-run average in four starts posting one shut out allowing 16 hits with five earned runs. McKinney has struck out 30 of 95 batters faced allowing just three walks during that stretch.

Versus Gustavus Adolphus (MN) Leisgang went 2-for-7 from the plate with two runs batted in, two runs scored, two walks and one double in winning both games against the Gusties. In the opening day of the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Florida Leisgang is 2-for-6 with two runs batted in with one triple and one run scored. For the season Leisgang is batting .370 with a .815 slugging percentage earning at least one hit in every game this season. In those eight games Leisgang has earned an extra-base hit in five games. Leisgang has collected 10 hits, 9 runs batted in and 8 runs scored with two doubles, two triples and two home runs.
