SOCCER NATIONALLY RANKED IN PRESEASON POLLS

EAU CLAIRE – Coming off its most successful season in school history, finishing 23-3, the UW-Eau Claire women’s soccer team has received rankings in two national polls.

For the second year in a row, D3Kicks.com has UW-Eau Claire tabbed in its Top 25 poll, with a 10th place ranking. Last year, the Blugolds were ranked 24th in the preseason poll.

The soccer team is also ranked 15th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Top 25 poll. This is the highest preseason ranking the Blugolds have ever received in the NSCAA poll.

The soccer team will take the field with a home opener at the Bollinger Fields against Macalester on Friday, August 31.
