BROHMER TO COMPETE AT NCAA OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

EAU CLAIRE – UW-Eau Claire men’s hammer thrower Ryan Brohmer (Sr.-La Crosse/Logan) has qualified to compete at the 2007 NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by UW-Oshkosh May 24-26.

Brohmer was one of 17 individuals who will compete this weekend in the hammer throw. Brohmer posted a season-best throw of 180-7 on April 21 at the Carleton (MN) Relays. Brohmer will enter the championships with the eighth-best throw in the field.

The hammer throw trials will take place on Friday, May 25 at 3:00 P.M. with the finals immediately following. The top eight finishers will earn All-America status.
