MEN’S TRACK COMPETES AT NCAA QUALIFIER

LA CROSSE – Several members of the UW-Eau Claire men’s track and field team traveled to La Crosse to compete at the NCAA Qualifier Last Chance Meet held here today at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.

Joe Felber (So.-Manitowoc/Lincoln) placed sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 43-7.25. Felber was the top Blugold place winner at the meet.

Josh Boehm (Jr.-Mosinee) finished seventh in the pole vault with a season-best 14-11.5. Nick Desotelle (So.-Weston/D.C. Everest) tied his season-best mark of 14-5.5 to finish 10th.

Joseph Veriga (Sr.-Cudahy) was the top Blugold finisher in the 800-meter dash placing 14th with a time of 1:56.98.

The Blugolds will compete at the Augustana Last Chance Meet in Rock Island, Illinois tomorrow. Action is set to begin at 12:00 P.M.
