TICKET POLICY SET FOR HOCKEY GAME AT THE RESCH CENTER
UW-Eau Claire hockey season passes and Green Bay Gamblers’ season passes will be honored Saturday at the Resch Center in Green Bay for the hockey doubleheader involving those two teams. The Blugold men’s home game with St. Norbert was moved to the Resch Center because of a strong Blugold connection with the Gamblers. Former Blugold coach Luke Strand, who arranged the doubleheader, was a former Gambler assistant coach and a number of Blugold players wore a Gamblers’ uniform at one time. Strand has since left the university for a coaching position with the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League and Matt Loen has assumed the head coaching duties on an interim basis. The Blugolds will face St. Norbert in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association contest at 5:05 p.m. and the Gamblers will take on the Sioux Falls Stampede following that game. Tickets for the game will be available at the door and are $15, $13, $11 and $8. UWEC students with a valid university ID will be admitted free as will Blugold hockey and All Sports pass holders. The UWEC Alumni Association is planning a pregame gathering at 4 p.m. for $20 per person. That cost will include food and a ticket for both games. Contact the Alumni Association at (715) 836-3266 to make reservations. -TP-
