BLUGOLD GYMNASTS FALL TO LA CROSSE

LA CROSSE - The UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team fell to recently crowned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champions UW-La Crosse 188.350-182.050 here tonight at Mitchell Hall.

Lynn Morris (So.-Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) had the top score on the vault with a score of 9.450. Morris had the second best score on the balance beam with a career-high 9.675 and had the top Blugold score on the uneven bars with a score of 9.175.

Alison Eagles (Jr.-Shoreview, MN/Mounds View) took third on the vault with a score of 9.300 while finishing fourth on the floor exercise and fifth on the balance beam.

The Blugolds will be in action next when they compete in the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Regionals Friday, March 19. The regionals will be held in the McPhee Phy. Ed. Center and are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
