MORRIS EARNS WIAC GYMNAST OF THE WEEK HONORS AGAIN

MADISON - For the second consecutive week and third time this season UW-Eau Claire gymnast Lynn Morris (So.-Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Gymnast of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek.

Morris claimed the all-around title at the John Zuerlein Invitational on February 27 with a score of 37.100. She won the balance beam with a career-best mark of 9.625 and took second in the vault (9.400). She also finished sixth on the bars (8.925) and 11th in the floor exercise (9.150). Her efforts led the Blugolds to a second-place finish with 180.025 points.
