FOOTBALL RANKED IN PRESEASON POLLS
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Following its NCAA Division III playoff run during 2007, the UW-Eau Claire football team has received recognition in two national preseason polls for the 2008 season. The Blugolds are ranked 12th in Lindy’s Division III preseason top 25 poll and 15th in the USA Today Sports Weekly’s college football season preview magazine. Eau Claire will kickoff its 2008 campaign with a road game on September 6 in McKenzie, Tenn. against Bethel College.
