Issued: November 13, 2006 EVENSEN NAMED FIRST TEAM ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT EAU CLAIRE – UW-Eau Claire football wide receiver Matt Evensen (Sr.-Junction City/Auburndale) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 5 Football Team College Division, it was recently announced.

However, the Titans snapped a five-game losing streak last year with a 24-18 overtime win at Titan Stadium.

Alma is affiliated with the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). The Blugolds have never faced a team from the MIAA.

The Johnnies have won two of the last three times, including last year’s 35-28 victory at Carson Park.
