FOOTBALL, MEN'S HOCKEY SPONSOR YOUTH GAMES

EAU CLAIRE - Next Saturday's (Nov. 1) UW-Eau Claire football and men's hockey games have been designated as Youth games.

Two youths will be admitted free of charge with each paid adult. General admission tickets are $6 for adults. The football team will host UW-Platteville in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest at 1 p.m. at Carson Park. The men's hockey team will open its season with a non-conference game against UW-Stevens Point at 7:05 p.m.

Youths attending either the football game or hockey game will receive a team schedule poster at the contest. The football team will remain on the field after the game to sign autographs.

The football team Youth Day is tied in to the American Football Coaches Association "Take a Kid to a Game" program. Child ID Kits will be distributed free of charge to youths attending the game. The kit allows parents to make fingerprints of their children for identification purposes.
