BLUGOLD FOOTBALL PLAYER STILL CRITICAL

EAU CLAIRE - UW-Eau Claire junior linebacker Justin Greenwood remains in critical condition in a St. Paul hospital following a head injury sustained in the Blugolds' football game at UW-River Falls Saturday.

Greenwood was injured in the first half of the Blugolds' 42-28 conference win against River Falls. After being transported to the River Falls area hospital, he was airlifted to St. Paul Regions Hospital where he underwent surgery Saturday night.

His mother, Glenda Greenwood, told Blugold interim athletics director Tim Petermann Sunday night that Justin was still in critical condition but stabilized.
