SUCKOW NAMED WIAC FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, Wis. – UW-Eau Claire women’s track and field member Hayley Suckow (So.-Elk Mound, Wis.) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference field athlete of the week, conference spokesman Matt Stanek announced today.

Suckow won the pole vault at the Phil Esten Challenge on April 18 with a height of 11-11 3/4. Her performance provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Division III Championship, while ranking second on the league’s honor roll and ninth on the NCAA Division III performance list.
