SCHNEIDER RECEIVES COACH OF THE YEAR HONORS

MADISON, Wis. – UW-Eau Claire women’s track and field head coach Chip Schneider has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s (WIAC) indoor coach of the year, announced today by conference spokesman Matt Stanek.

Schneider is in his second year as the women’s track and field head coach. Last season he guided his team to a third place finish at the WIAC Indoor Championships, but was able to move up and take second place at this year’s championships. Schneider’s women’s team won three events at the indoor championships this season, tying La Crosse for most events won by a team.
