WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO WINONA STATE AT DULUTH INDOOR

DULUTH, MN - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team dropped its second meet of the Duluth Indoor losing to Winona State this afternoon 5-4.

The Blugolds won three of the six singles matches. Liz Deprey (So.-Green Bay/Notre Dame) at No.4 singles and Molly Hunt (Jr.-Owatonna, MN) at No.5 singles won their second matches of the day. Alli Taplin (Jr.-Dayton, MN/Champlin Park) at No.6 singles picked up a victory defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-0.

The No.3 doubles team of Deprey and Kristie Carlson (So.-Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View) was the only the Blugold team to win, as they won 8-4.

Next, the Blugolds will also travel to face St. Olaf College next Friday along with the men's team with their meet beginning at 4 p.m.
