WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO LUTHER

DECORAH, IA - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team lost their second consecutive dual match of the season falling to Luther (IA) College 8-1.

Luther improves its record to 5-0 on the season while the Blugolds fall to 6-4 on the season, 1-2 in dual matches.

The No. 3 doubles team of Liz Deprey (So.-Green Bay/Notre Dame) and Kristin Neuman (So.-Green Bay/Ashwaubenon) posted the only Blugold victory of the day in defeating Molly Beyer and Amy Christenson 8-6.

Katie Kuzma (Sr.-Buffalo, MN) and Laura Geissler (Jr.-Coon Rapids, MN) lost to Kirsten Madsen and Tara Huinker 8-4 at No. 1 doubles while Molly Beyer and Amy Christenson held off Kristie Carlson (So.-Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View) and Molly Hunt (Jr.-Owatonna, MN) at No. 2 doubles 8-6.

The Blugolds return home on Tuesday, September 20 to host UW-Stout. Action is set to begin at 3:30 PM.
