October 24, 2005 - October 30, 2005


Jenny Wolter, M/R, Sr., Osceola, WI

Wolter helped the Blugolds stay undefeated and win the UW - River Falls Trick or Treat Tournament. The hitter was apart of the All - Tournament team, donated 13 blocks, 48 kills, and an average hitting percentage of .457 overall. Wolter's contributions helped the Blugolds shut out River Falls and Stout, and beat Northwestern 3-1, and St. Thomas 3-2 respectively.


October 17, 2005 - October 23, 2005


Molly Menard, OH, Sr., Eau Claire, WI/Memorial

Menard had a huge week for the #16 ranked Blugolds. In the regular season victory over UW-River Falls, Menard brought down 16 kills. Over the weekend, Menard helped the Blugolds take 1st place and go unbeaten at the UW-Stout Volleyball Tournament. The outside hitter made the All-Tournament team with a total of 55 kills against 4 teams, bringing the Blugolds to 22-3 overall.


October 10, 2005 - October 16, 2005


Jenny Wolter, Sr., Osceola

For the second straight week, Wolter is the Blugolds volleyball athlete of the week. Despite losing to rival UW-Oshkosh, Wolter pounded down 20 kills in the game, and a hitting percentage of .486. She also assisted in four Blugold blocks.


October 3, 2005 - October 9, 2005


Jenny Wolter, Sr., Osceola

Wolter pounded down 14 kills and a hitting percentage of .565 in Thursday's game vs. Bemidji State. Wolter's offensive attack helped bring home the Blugolds fifth straight home victory.


September 26, 2005 - October 2, 2005


Molly Menard, Sr., Eau Claire, WI/Memorial

Menard had a big week, helping the Blugolds to victories over two WIAC teams. In the game against Platteville, Menard lead the Blugold offense with 19 kills and a .326 hitting percentage. The next day, Menard was one of three Blugolds to bring down 20+ kills in the 3-2 victory over La Crosse.


September 19, 2005 - September 25, 2005


Jodi Dunbar, Jr., Platteville, WI

Dunbar was named to the Siegenthaler Memorial All-Tournament Team as she helped the Blugolds tie for the best overall record at 3-1. Dunbar led the Blugolds in kills with 15 versus UW-Stevens Point and Millikin (IL) University. Millikin tied the Blugolds with a 3-1 tournament record. The Blugolds defeated conference schools UW-Superior, 21st ranked UW-Stout, UW-Stevens Point and UW-River Falls.


September 12, 2005 - September 18, 2005


Jessica Groh, MH, Sr., Eau Claire, WI/North

Groh helped the Blugolds to a 2-1 record on the week, including a defeat over defending WIAC champs, UW - Whitewater. Groh contributed 14 kills against Whitewater and 12 against Stevens Point. Groh also brought in a .263 average in hitting for week.


September 5, 2005 - September 11, 2005


Carly Freiborg, Setter, Jr., Sacred Heart, MN/Renville County West

Freiborg was named to the Augsburg (MN) All-Tournament Team as the Blugolds were declared the tournament champions finishing 4-0 on the weekend losing only one game in four matches. Freiborg posted a season-best 57 assists versus St. Scholastica (MN) while also adding 10 digs. For the weekend Freiborg averaged 12.3 assists, 2.4 digs and 1.2 service aces per game this weekend with a hitting percentage of .450.


August 27, 2005 - September 4, 2005


Jenny Wolter, Sr., Osceola

Wolter was named to the UW-Eau Claire Labor Day All-Tournament team helping the Blugolds to a perfect 4-0 record on the weekend. Wolter posted a .362 hitting percentage in four matches accumulating 47 kills, 17 total blocks (2 solo-15 assisted), 12 digs and 10 service aces.
