SOFTBALL POSTPONED AGAIN

The UW-Eau Claire softball team’s rescheduled home opener Sunday against St. Norbert College has been postponed again, this time because of wet grounds.

No date has been set for making up the non-conference twin bill which was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 31.

The Blugolds are now scheduled to make their 2007 home debut in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader against UW-Superior Tuesday at Gelein Field in Carson Park. The first game is set for 3 p.m.

The Blugolds, currently 12-4 for the season, are ranked No. 4 in the most recent NFCA Division III national poll.
