MEN'S TRACK TAKES 13TH IN SPRINT MEDLEY

DES MOINES, IA - The UW-Eau Claire men's track team had only one squad competing today in the second day of the Drake Relays.

The 1600-meter sprint medley foursome of Nick Aliota (Jr.-Brookfield/Central), Bryan Tschudy (Fr.-New Richmond), Chris Kupfer (Fr.-Germantown), and Adam Wolfe (So.-Marshfield) finished 13th out of 23 teams. They had a time 3:33.99 in the event.

The Blugolds had three relay teams run yesterday. The 4x800-meter squad took 15th, the 4x100-meter relay team managed 21st and the 4x200-meter group did not finish their race.

Eau Claire will now prepare for next weekend's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Outdoor Championships in Oshkosh.
