Assistant Men's Track and Field Coach - Doug Clary

Doug Clary

Doug Clary is an assistant men's track and field coach at UW-Eau Claire where he coaches the pole vault for the Blugolds.

Prior to Eau Claire Clary was a pole vault coach at La Crosse Logan High School. During that span Clary saw his athletes place second and third at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) State High School Track and Field Championships.

Clary was a five-time All-American in the pole vault and was a member of four NCAA Division III Indoor and three Outdoor National Championships as a student-athlete at UW-La Crosse. At the 1994 NCAA Indoor Championships Clary cleared a personal-best 16-3 ¾ feet.

At UW-La Crosse Clary earned a bachelor's degree in Community Health Education.
