DYKSTRA FINISHES 19TH ON FINAL DAY OF NATIONALS

OXFORD, Ohio – UW-Eau Claire junior diver Bryan Dykstra (Racine, Wis./Horlick) competed in the final day of the 2008 NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by The College of Wooster at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center today.

Dykstra finished in 19th place out of 22 divers in the three-meter dive with a score of 378.50. The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s only other representative, Jacob Chadderdon, scored 493.00 for a ninth place finish today. Kai Robinson of Amherst, who also won the one-meter dive Thursday, took the top spot in the three-meter today with a 535.55.

Dykstra also competed in the one-meter dive earlier this week. Unfortunately he was unable to qualify for the finals after failing a dive in preliminaries.
