MEN’S GOLF IN FIRST AT FRANK WRIGGLESWORTH INVITE
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Eau Claire men’s golf team completed day one of its own Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Collegiate Invite in first place today. The Blugolds led the 15-team field with 294 strokes, four strokes ahead of second-place Gustavus Adolphus. Rounding out the top five teams are St. Thomas with 303 stokes, St. John’s with 304 strokes and UW-Stout with 317 stokes. UW-Eau Claire’s Peter Wendt (Sr.-Lake Mills) was the top golfer today, shooting a 69. Two strokes behind him are Gustavus’ Eric Harris and Luther’s Tom Lantzy. Kyle Rohlfs from Gustavus is in fourth place with a 72. The Blugolds will tee off for the final day of the Frank Wrigglesworth Invite at 8:30 a.m. Monday. Day One Results - KM -
