| Assistant Football Coach - Ron Planz
Ron Planz enters his third season
as an assistant coach for the Blugolds. Planz will coach
the defensive secondary and serve as the recruiting
coordinator after working with wide receivers in 2002
and cornerbacks in 2001.
During the spring of 2002 Planz traveled to Vienna,
Austria where he was the defensive coordinator for the
Danube Dragons.
A Bensenville, Illinois native, Planz played four seasons
at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. As a player
Planz also assisted the Carthage football staff in recruiting
as well as tracking attendance and participation in
off-season workouts.
In addition to lettering in football, Planz also lettered
for the Carthage track and field team.
Planz earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise
science from Carthage in May 2001 and received his master’s
degree from UW-Eau Claire in May 2003.
