Provide childcare for infants through elementary age children while their parents attend on-site
education classes. Classes held throughout the week during daytime and evening hours.
Assist with special events. Several opportunities are available to do various duties during FRC’s
Premiere Night on Wednesday, July 23.
Be a class supervisor and provide supervisory duties during the parent education classes.

FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER
Operation Freefall — Honorary jumpers are needed for our annual skydiving fundraiser on Saturday,
April 26. Honorary jumpers are needed to help raise pledges for this Two-Mile High Stand Against
Sexual Assault.
Children’s Group Volunteer — Assist with a weekly ongoing group for children who have witnessed or
experienced domestic violence in their families. Group meets Mondays from 5 to 7:15 pm.
Office Assistant / Phone Answering — Assist with office projects, mailings, computer tasks, and
phones. Answering phones at the Family Support Center including both business and crisis calls on
Thursdays.
Safe Exchange Facilitator — Assist families in safely exchanging their children for visitation.
Construction — We need someone to do small construction projects around the building. Call for more
details.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF WISCONSIN, INC. — NORTHWEST DISTRICT
JA Youth Skills Challenge is partnering with the First Tee to present a golfing competition for boys and
girls ages 7 through 14 at Hickory Hills Golf Course on Tuesday, June 17, starting at 3:30 pm.
Volunteers needed to train kids on ethics in life and in golf as well as planning and implementing
special events. Fun opportunities include soliciting prizes, working with kids, setting up the event.
Classroom volunteer opportunity! Come to the JA office ad receive a free JA kit and orientation to
prepare you for your classroom experience. You can volunteer in the classroom just one hour a week
for a minimum of five weeks. As a classroom volunteer, you can bring a message of economic
opportunity and understanding to the students.

JA Night at the Eau Claire Express — Friday, June 27, 7 pm, Carson Park. Sponsored by Group Health

supervise students during our 2nd Annual Join Hands Day. Examples of JHD activities include YMCA
Camp Manitou cleanup, Community Table, Special Olympics Track and Field Meet, park and community
nature trail clean up and prairie restoration planting. The goal of JHD is to have our youth learn the value
