An emphasis in graphic design allows students to
combine all of their art experiences with knowledge acquired in and outside the
Department of Art & Design in developing problem-solving skills which they apply to contemporary visual communication, including all levels of printed materials, electronic interactive web design, multimedia, and digital 3-D animation. Advanced students participate in an effective practicum program which brings them into direct contact with printers, budget restrictions, clients, and deadlines.
