Any student enrolled on the campus, who joins with the chapter’s members in their service projects, accepts the principles of Scouting on which the Fraternity’s ideals are based, and meets the standards of the chapter may join the fraternity of Alpha Phi Omega.
In order to join APO new members participate in a semester of pledgeship. Pledges represent the future of Alpha Phi Omega. Through pledge process, new members learn about the history and values of the fraternity and decide whether they will dedicate their time to the pursuits of the fraternity.
College is about more than acquiring a degree; college should also be about personal growth and development, building lifelong relationships, and gaining a sense of social responsibility. Alpha Phi Omega, through its unique program of leadership, friendship and service, offers a community that fosters each of these goals. Each member is encouraged to become a part of that community, to reach beyond their limits to become better stronger more accepting people, and to give freely of their time and energies to those in need in the chapter, campus, community, and nation.
APO teaches ideals that carry on through out a members entire life, even after graduating college.
Alpha Phi Omega is not just about membership at Eau Claire; membership encompasses the entire national community of members who share the common goal of service.
