Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire chapter of Amnesty International

Come to our showing of "Understanding Under Fire" during Human Rights Week, April 16th-20th. "Education Under Fire" is a documentary covering the oppression of education of Baha'i faith in Iran.

Amnesty International is a worldwide human rights movement that fights injustice and promotes human rights.
On the UW-Eau Claire campus we strive to inform our fellow students about abuses both domestic and foreign
and guide them in ways to help end violations of our basic human rights.

Amnesty adheres to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), published by the United Nations in 1948.
The UDHR is generally agreed to be the foundation for international human rights law.
