Fun Run

The American Marketing Association's 26th annual Fun Run was held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, in Carson Park's Oak Pavilion.  The rollerblade race began at 9:30 a.m. and the run/walk began at 10 a.m.

AMA sponsors the 5K walk/run/rollerblade race to raise money for Special Olympics.  The event included the 5K walk in the morning, bands around noon, a barbecue, beverages, competitions and door prizes.  The day finished with a Bash at the Brat Kabin, featuring a date auction that started at 5:30 p.m. Food, beverages, and fun was served all day long!

Runners received free beverages, granola bars, a color-changing souvenir cup, and a t-shirt for their efforts and participation.

The event was open to all students, faculty, staff, and the community.  Tickets were $15 in advance and $18 on the day of the event.

The event is always an enormous success. Despite the cold weather, we had a large turnout and were able to support Special Olympics! We thank the community members, faculty, students, AMA sponsors, and volunteers for the great turnout. Feel free to browse the pictures below:
