Regina Stuczynski '06 and Mike Dodge '05

Where and how did you meet while at UW-Eau Claire? We both belonged to Campus Crusade and had a lot of mutual friends through that group.

Was it a “love connection” at first? No, we kind of knew each other for at least a year before we started to really like each other.

Who made the first move? I took Regina out to Houligan's and told her that I liked her and wanted to date her. So we prayed about it for a week and then I took her on a picnic at Mt. Simon. There I asked her if she would go out with me, and she said yes!!

Is there a place on campus that is special for the two of you – as location of first date/first kiss, etc.? Putnam Park, where we would go to procrastinate from studying, and Skylight Lounge in Davies, where we would meet up for lunch or in between classes.

What is your fondest memory as a couple that connects you to UW-Eau Claire? I think the fondest memory I can think of is going to Viennese Ball 2005 together with a few other couples. We cooked a really good meal at my house and had everyone over before the ball. Then we all went to the V-Ball and had a great time there. It was Regina and I with our good friends Chris and Elisa for most of the night. We got some great pictures and have some great memories from that night.

How long have you been together? When we get married in August 2008, we’ll be together for almost 3½ yrs.
