Patty (Traczyk) Riedl '02 and Ryan Riedl '03

My husband and I met at UW-Eau Claire during our fourth year, in 2002. We were neighbors, living on Barstow Street. He came over to my house one day while I was gone to invite my roommates over for a party and to borrow our margarita ball. I met Ryan the next day when he was returning the margarita ball and stopping by to say hi. We started dating a few months later and have many fond memories of hanging out with all of our friends on Water Street. I got the opportunity to watch Ryan play football the next semester, and I think one of our fondest memories is celebrating the victory with his parents after the game (that was the first time I met them). So I would say the Carson Park football field holds a special place in both our hearts.

We both went on to have successful careers.  He is a district sales manager with Aramark, and I am a senior account executive with Hormel Foods. We currently live in Shakopee, Minn., and tied the knot on Dec. 16, 2006, in Green Lake, Wis.
