Jay Livesey '73 and Trudy (Christensen) Livesey '73

Jay and Trudy Livesey Where and how did you meet while students at UW-Eau Claire? We actually met for the first time in American History 50b, but didn't really have much of a connection until we ran into each other at a huge house party above the Union Gospel Mission in downtown Eau Claire.

Was it a “love connection” from the start? There certainly was a special feeling right from the start.

Special place on campus: We spent a lot of time on upper campus since Jay lived in Horan Hall and I lived in Towers, though I think we decided to go "steady" at the library.

What is your fondest memory as a couple that connects you to UW-Eau Claire? It will always be a special place to us since that is where we met, and we just have a lot of great memories of friends, classes and dorm life.

Our son Eric also graduated from UW-Eau Claire in December 2006, so that was a special day in our UW-Eau Claire life too. (He also met his girlfriend there, so they could be a second-generation Blugold couple.)
