What are you and your spouse/partner's names and UW-Eau Claire graduation dates? Cassandra (Honkanen) Cerny and Steven Cerny both graduated May 2006

Where and how did you meet while students at UW-Eau Claire? We met while living off campus-we were neighbors on S. Dewey St.

Was it a “love connection” from the start? Our friendship quickly flourished into a "love connection" and we were engaged after 4 months of dating.

Is there a place on campus that is special for the two of you — as the location of your first date/first kisses, etc.? The water fountain located in Wilson Park in downtown Eau Claire, where we used to play in the fountain like we were kids.

What is your fondest memory as a couple that connects you to UW-Eau Claire?Because we were married before graduation and we met so early into our college years, we were able to share almost our entire college experience together.

If you are married, when did you tie the knot? We were married on June 4, 2005
