Students needing special accommodations for testing must provide supporting documentation outlining the nature of the disability and the appropriate accommodation. Who makes the decision regarding accommodations depends on the examinations:
For all College Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations, and placements tests not taken as part of the Regional Testing program, the student should contact the UW-Eau Claire Services for Students with Disabilities Office, Old Library 2136, (715) 836-4542.
For placement examinations taken during Regional Placement Testing, the student sends a document to the Center for Placement Testing in Madison. Information about this is provided in the letter sent to all entering freshmen.
For tests given by national testing companies (PPST, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, LSAT, MCAT, ACT) the student sends information to the national testing company (either ACT or ETS).
