Dr. James Boulter is appointed UW-Eau Claire's second Campus Sustainability Fellow as part of the implementation of the university's strategic plan, which calls for identifying and prioritizing campus improvements focusing on sustainability.

In August 2007, UW-Eau Claire joined colleges and universities across the nation in becoming a signatory to the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment. The Presidents Climate Commitment is the first such effort by any major sector of society to set climate neutrality — not just a reduction in harmful emissions — as its target. More information.
