Read about some successful faculty/student collaborative research projects and publications:
Also read about research opportunities for first- and second-year students through UW-Eau Claire's Blugold Fellowship program. |
UW-Eau Claire undergraduate students have the unusual opportunity to work collaboratively with faculty on original research ranging from sciences to business to creative projects in the arts. Each year more than 800 students strengthen their liberal arts education by taking part in challenging research with faculty who provide guidance, direction and support.
Designated as the UW System Center of Excellence for Faculty and Undergraduate Student Research Collaboration, UW-Eau Claire sends approximately 150 students each year to professional conferences to present their research. In addition, many student researchers get the chance to publish in journals, meet experts and pursue their research through internships and off-campus study.
It’s these kinds of hands-on learning experiences that help students develop intensive knowledge on a particular issue in their field and give them a competitive edge upon graduation.
