On Saturday, Dec. 16, members of UW-Eau Claire's class of 2006 — including 712 receiving bachelor's degrees and 28 receiving master's degrees — joined the ranks of the more than 65,000 Blugold alumni contributing to workplaces and communities across the nation and the world. Our newest graduates will go on to assume such titles as staff accountant, Peace Corps volunteer, geologist, children's librarian, programmer, English teacher, sales representative, registered nurse — and the list goes on. Others look forward to continuing their education at graduate institutions like Temple University, Iowa State University, the University of Pennsylvania, Texas A&M University and Washington University.
