Activities/Orgs: I'm a busy bee!  I'm a Campus Ambassador, the VP of the Spanish Business Association, the VP of the Spanish Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi, and the Recruitment Director for the UW-Eau Claire student chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators

Any comment on the residence halls experience? I loved the dorms!  I chose a random roomate for my freshman year here at UW- Eau Claire and we had a blast-I still live with her today!  Also, when I was studying at Winthrop University through National Student Exchange, I was assigned a random roomate and 2 great suite mates-we plan trips together every summer!

If you work during school, where? I am an intern in the Admissions Office-woop woop!  And I waitress at the best Mexican restaurant in Eau Claire, Manny's Mexican Cocina.

Best place to study: I like to switch up my study 'hot spots'.  Some days I sit on the campus mall, or I find a cube in the 24-hour computer lab, other times I check out a laptop from the library and head across the bridge to a coffee shop.

Best thing/place to eat on campus: I love bake sales!  Whenever an organization has a fundraiser selling tasty treats, I stock up!

Best place to eat in Eau Claire: Manny's, of course!  ;)  But seriously, the fish tacos, Faro Viejo Shrimp and HUGE fajitas are addicting!

Favorite thing to do when you get free time: I love rollerblading around the Eau Claire area, especially on the paved trail down to Phoenix Park.

Favorite activity/place off-campus: In the summer time there is nothing better than a lazy day tubing down the river and then laying down my blanket at Phoenix Park to listen to live music in the park. Love it!

    Favorite activity/place on-campus:
I really dig checking out the Foster Art Gallery in Haas and hanging out in the cabin.

Best class so far: The best class I've had so far is Dr. Schultz's Human Resource Development class because of her unique teaching style that promotes seamless small group cohesiveness and constant creative thinking.  For a group project my group made up a song regarding tying a tie and I sang it to the entire class!  The best part?  I still have peers from the class randomly approach me and sing a verse of the song!  :)

Best professor: Dr. Nicole Schultz in the Communication Department.  She is flexible, yet thorough, provokes innovative thought, yet teaches time-challenged theory.  And, she signs her e-mails, "N". :)

Best thing about being a student at UWEC: We're the main focus of the University's mission and it's obvious in every facet of campus, from the administrative decisions to the availability and helpfulness of professors.

Best reason to stay up until 2a.m.: Watching 'The Office' or sitting by a campfire.

Why did you pick UWEC? It just felt right.  Don't believe me?  You will when you feel it.

Best advice for getting the most out of college:  Say, "yes".  Try everything, get involved, test your boundaries and by doing that you leave college with so much more than a degree.

Best memory/experience in college so far: There are so many!  My Study Abroad and National Student Exchange experiences were eye-opening and world shrinking.  Yet, I think my favorite memories happen right here in Eau Claire when my friends and I cook dinner in my kitchen (that has a washer and dryer in it!) and then sit down at our card table to eat off of mis-matched plates.

Why you want to be on my tour in 5 words or less: You will find authentic professionalism.

Any last thoughts? I thought of Eau Claire as just a window to the world, now I think of it as home.
