Chemistry with Business Emphasis

• The UW-Eau Claire chemistry program provides excellent preparation for graduate study or immediate employment.
• Through seminars and internships, upper-division students interact with and gain valuable career experience from people working in the chemical industry and chemical business.
• The chemistry department has a long tradition of productive collaborative research between undergraduate students and faculty, culminating in published papers in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at regional, national and international meetings.
• The department has an impressive array of state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation to which all chemistry majors have access during their studies.
• The department faculty, all of whom have doctoral degrees, teach all classes.
• Classes are small and faculty members are readily accessible outside class hours.
• Students also take coursework in the College of Business, which is located in the adjacent Schneider Hall, a facility containing offices, classrooms and laboratories for equipment used in the business data processing area.
