UW-Eau Claire art and design advantages

Art & Design

All classes are taught by teacher/artists who give individual attention and inspire learning. No teaching assistants are used in any classes, as they are at many larger universities.
The Foster Gallery shows works by nationally and internationally known artists as well as by UW-Eau Claire faculty and students.
Students are provided opportunities to visit some of the nation's finest galleries and museums through field trips, meet and listen to internationally recognized visiting artists and gain valuable experiences for their portfolios.
Student art organizations are open to all art & design students.
Students also may earn credits through study abroad experiences.
Students have access to equipment in all studio areas.
Three computer graphic labs have up-to-date hardware and software to work in print media, Web/electronic design, digital photography, video and animation.
