Exam 1/P

Exam 1/P is the first preliminary examination and counts for both the CAS and SOA sides. It is generally recommended that the exam be taken after completing Math 346: Probability and Math347: Mathematical Statistics. Note that these courses do not entirely cover all of the materials on the exam, but provide a majority of the knowledge needed to pass. The topics that will be tested in this examination can be found here. Exam 1/P is offered five times in 2008. The link below lists the registration deadlines and the time of each offering. Note that there is a $175 fee to take this exam.
