James (Jim) Brockpahler is the programs and information management coordinator for Activities and Programs at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Jim joined the staff of Activities and Programs in University Centers in January, 2002. He currently advises the student programming board, the University Activities Commission (UAC), coordinates the overall Campus Film Series and supervises the student-run club, Higherground. Jim also works with and oversees the websites of the Activities & Programs office and the UAC and works closely with University Center's Axis television system and the University's online calendar of events.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Information and Communication Technologies at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He is also the webmaster for the community choral music ensemble The Master Singers and webmaster for St. James the Greater Church in Eau Claire.
Jim is married to Jen, who is also employed in Centers. They enjoy long walks on the beach, mountain climbing, horseback riding, exploring underwater caves and creating fictional "enjoyments" for various online biographies.
