Leadership Seminar Series

The Leadership Seminar Series is a 12-week, non-credit program designed to engage students in critical thinking and dialogue about leadership development. A small group of 15-20 participants, selected through an application process, will meet for a seminar session once per week for 12 weeks during the semester. At each seminar session, facilitators will focus on specific leadership topics and concepts, including:

  • Leadership theories and models
  • Ethical leadership
  • Inclusive leadership
  • Understanding self and others
  • Group and team interaction
  • Service and leadership
  • Personal leadership philosophy development
  • Personal goal-setting

Participants are asked to engage in a series of readings and activities in and outside the seminar to further enhance understanding of concepts. Upon completion of the seminar series, students are recognized with a certificate of completion at the Student Leadership Recognition Awards. The Leadership Seminar Series is made possible through generous support from the UW-Eau Claire Centennial Plan Fund.
