The 2015 Conference in Review
On Sunday, October 25, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire hosted the ninth annual We Lead Leadership Conference, welcoming students from Chippewa Valley Technical College, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stout. More than 100 students attended the leadership development opportunity, with the highest population being freshmen, making up 30% of those registered.
The free half-day program in Davies Center featured both staff and student presenters. Topics included building a successful team, making stress your ally, strengthening and applying your leadership skills, creating a balanced life, time management, taking time for yourself, building your network, creating an organization vision, and learning to fail while growing from it, amongst others.
The conference opened with a keynote address by Quincy Chapman, the Interim Director of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Chapman discussed the ways "ordinary people" get extraordinary things done by utilizing basic leadership skill development and those around them.
In the evaluation survey, students were asked to comment on the overall experience.

- Great free event offered by UW-Eau Claire.
