What You REALLY Need to Know for Graduation

DEADLINES and INSTRUCTIONS

NO TICKETS REQUIRED FOR AUGUST COMMENCEMENT!

SPECIAL NEEDS SEATING

• Visit the Activities and Programs Office by Monday, July 28
  if you or your guests:
  • Require special seating arrangements because of physical impairments.
  • Require the printed program in a larger format for the visually impaired.
  • Require the use of a hearing assistance device (interpreter will be at ceremony).
• Only one person may accompany guests who require special seating.

WHERE TO GET CAPS, GOWNS and HONOR CORDS

• Available at the University Bookstore anytime until Friday, August 1

REVIEW DATA FROM REGISTRAR'S OFFICE

• A letter about graduation will be sent from Registrar's Office mid-semester.
• Review printed program data and notify Registrar's office of any changes.
• Be sure the Registrar has your current address on file so you don't miss important communications.
• Complete a "Restriction on Release of Student Information" form (available in Registrar's Office) by Monday, July 14 if you do NOT want the News Bureau to share your name with your hometown newspaper or have your name included in the commencement program.

INTERNATIONAL and STATE FLAGS

• We will automatically display the national and state flags representing all students attending UW-Eau Claire at the ceremony.
• Tribal flags will be displayed if possible; please let us know in the Activities & Programs Office (Davies 133) as soon as possible.
