What You REALLY Need to Know for Graduation
DEADLINES and INSTRUCTIONS
TICKETS
WHERE AND HOW MANY
- Free, but required for all guests, including infants and children.
- FIVE ( 5 ) tickets will be alloted to each graduate.
Ticket numbers
are based on the Registrar's count
of candidates registered for
graduation and the number of available seats
in Zorn Arena.
- Tickets available at the University Service Center with valid Blugold ID
card beginning Monday, November 2 and continuing until the day
of the ceremony.
- NO more tickets will be available to you so, if you need more, ask
your friends if they can share or post a request on the University
Sale Board located in Davies Center and also online.
- Tickets may be given away, but sale of these tickets is illegal
and offenders will be prosecuted.

Note: ALL students receiving a Masters degree or a Specialist in
Education degree will attend the Graduate Studies ceremony at 9 am
IF YOU CAN'T GET AS MANY TICKETS AS YOU WANT
- Remote site broadcasts in Davies Theatre located in the Davies Center and also in Hibbard Hall 100.
- No tickets required for the remote sites.
- Comfortable seats for elderly guests and those with small children.
CANDIDATES LIVING OUTSIDE OF EAU CLAIRE
- Only candidates actually living 50 miles from the city of Eau Claire
while student teaching or interning may request that tickets be mailed.
- Requests must be received before Monday, November 30 and
must be accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
- Send requests to: University Service Center, Davies Center 161,
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Eau Claire, WI 54702
- Exceptions will not be made since the Service Center is open
evenings and weekends
TICKET EXCHANGE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS SEATING
- Visit the Activities and Programs Office to exchange your tickets by Monday, November 30 if you or your guests:
- Require special seating arrangements because
of physical impairments.
- Require the printed program in a larger format
for the visually impaired.
- Require the use of a hearing assistance device
(an interpreter will be at ceremony).
- Only one person may accompany guests who require special seating.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
RESTRICTION ON RELEASE OF STUDENT INFORMATION
- Complete a "Restriction on Release of Student Information" form (available
in Registrar's Office) by Tuesday, December 1 if you do NOT want the
News Bureau to share your name with your hometown newspaper or
have your name included in the commencement program. To access this form, visit the Privacy of Student Records page via the Registrar's Office website and click "restrict the release of information."
