See the difference you can make

Our social work program is known in the industry for producing top-notch graduates. Much of this success comes from the experiences we provide outside of the typical classroom coursework. Our students are participating in faculty-student research, pursuing internships in their fields, and studying diversity through cultural immersion and study abroad. These opportunities allow you to gain valuable perspective and experience to prepare you for a career in social work. We encourage you to take advantage of one or all of these opportunities available, so don’t hesitate to ask us how.

Collaborate on research

One of the best ways to gain valuable experience and knowledge is through research. All of our students have the opportunity to take part in faculty-student research projects while an undergraduate at UWEC. Don’t miss out on great experiential learning!
