Human Development Center (HDC): The HDC was established on the campus of UW-Eau Claire in 1968 to serve as a setting for training graduate students and to provide interdisciplinary educational and consultative services to area citizens. School psychology faculty members have primary responsibility for core school psychology courses (assessment, interventions, supervision of practica and internship). Other members of the department teach courses such as developmental psychology, counseling skills, and child/adolescent psychopathology.
