Department of Nursing
Part-time clinical instructor positions are available in the Department of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Nursing and Health Sciences beginning in fall 2008. These are instructional academic staff positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include undergraduate clinical and selected classroom instruction to include the following duties:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical and/or classroom learning experiences. Submit written student performance evaluations for clinical courses.
- Participate in teaching activities related to course planning, progression,
and evaluation:
- Provide readings and prepare course syllabi.
- Provide tools for evaluation of student progress and course.
- Other course-related responsibilities.
- Present lectures, conduct seminars and discussions.
- Participate in the delivery of courses delivered via distance technology.
- Prepare tests and record grades.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Appropriate clinical experience.
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Must have RN licensure in the U.S. and eligible for RN licensure in WI..
