Instructional Academic Staff Vacancies

Department of Kinesiology

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire anticipates having part-time and/or temporary instructional academic staff vacancies in the Department of Kinesiology during the academic year (fall, winterim, spring and summer session). Applications are invited for the anticipated course needs listed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Wellness Theory and Physical Activity service courses.
  • Physical Education teaching methods courses.
  • Exercise Science related courses including but not limited to Anatomy, Biomechanics, and Exercise Physiology.
  • Red Cross certification related course including but not limited to First Aid, CPR, Lifeguard Training, and Water Safety Instructor.
  • Other courses: The Kinesiology Department offers programs in Athletic Training, Human Performance, Teaching Early Childhood through Adolescence Physical Education, Sport Pedagogy, and Movement Studies. See university catalog for a total listing of courses offered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A minimum of a master's degree is required; a terminal degree in related field may be considered an asset for some courses.
  2. Prior successful college teaching experience is considered an asset.

RANK: The positions will be filled based upon qualifications using the lecturer title series.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and within the range for Instructional Academic Staff.
