Student Workshops

Segment 4 Work Night

Planning, Developing, and Polishing Research Projects

presented by the Center for Writing Excellence

November 20 between 5 & 7 p.m.
McIntyre Library, 2003A

The Center for Writing Excellence invites students in WRIT 114 and 116 to an open session where you can talk with experienced Writing Assistants about your final project. The Writing Assistants can help you:
  • Develop a strong thesis
  • Find supporting scholarship
  • Organize your research
  • Develop an argument
  • Deal with competing narratives
  • Integrate rhetorical concepts into your research
  • Find multimedia tools that enhance your presentation
Writing Assistants can also help you plan and begin to write your final portfolio reflections.

Be sure to bring your assignment sheet and whatever ideas and writing you have.

Come when you can, stay as long as you need! All students enrolled in WRIT classes (not just Writing Scholars Program participants) are invited.

We hope to see you November 20 between 5 & 7 p.m. in the Center for Writing Excellence, McIntyre 2003A!
