Recommend your most talented students to take ENGL 397, Tutoring Academic Writing, so that they can work as paid tutors in the Center for Writing Excellence. Dr. Alan Benson, Director of the Center for Writing Excellence, teaches the two-credit course each semester. Students enrolled in ENGL 397 also earn full service-learning credit and are eligible to become paid Writing Assistants.
