Do you need to have web pages developed or maintained for your UW-Eau Claire department, office or curricular site? Do you need a Web application developed?
Web Development Services has a staff of trained student assistants available to work for you. The purpose is to provide a quick and efficient way for you to find someone to help you with your site--without having to make inquiries or go through an interview process. Students can:
- Design, develop or update Web sites
- Develop scripts or Web applications
- Provide limited individual support
What are the advantages of using a Web Development Student?
We provide office space for students with all the tools at their disposal so you don't need to purchase anything or dedicate a work space. After students complete a job, they move on to the next project and so have the benefit of continuous employment and development of Web publishing skills.
How does it work?
There is no charge for most Web services. Projects are reviewed for merit and ability to deliver by the Web change control board. If approved, they are assigned on a first-come, first-served priority basis. We reserve the right to charge a fee for large projects that would jeopardize our ability to handle current projects expediently or that need immediate priority assigned.
You will become a client of the student. Here is some additional information in Microsoft Word format about Working with Web Development Students.Questions?
